Have you ever found yourself switching between problem behaviors? Certain you’re stopping one, only to turn to another? From drinking excessively, to disordered eating, to self harming, and then back to another substance?
I can guide you through safely navigating distress and gaining the tools to confront life.
You CAN recover.

Disordered eating can affect anyone, no matter their gender, race, or body size. That’s why I offer treatment that is inclusive and focuses on Health At Every Size.
A few signs that it’s time to ask for help:
You are constantly worrying about your body or about food
You often feel shame after eating
You make yourself throw up or exercise to “make up for” what you ate
At times you will eat large amounts of food in one sitting, feeling out of control as if you’ll never stop eating
You’re always dieting or intentionally limiting how much food you’re eating, or avoiding certain foods
-
Breaking habits of excessive drinking and substance use isn’t easy. If you find yourself unable to tolerate your emotions without getting high or drunk, it may be time to ask for help.
Have you tried to stop or decrease your using/drinking to no avail?
Has your substance use started to affect you in relationships, work, or school?
Do you tend to drink or get high when you’re feeling stress, sadness, anger, or anxiety?
Do you find it hard to imagine having fun without getting drunk or high?

More than 50% of individuals with an eating disorder also struggle with substance abuse.
More than 60% of those with an addiction OR eating disorder also struggle with a mental health condition.
Recovering from addiction and disordered eating at the same time can be intimidating. But I help people do this every day.
My expertise also includes treatment for co-occurring mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and other mood and personality disorders.
